- Your doctor has prescribed Zilcef to cure your infection and improve your symptoms.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection harder to treat.
- Discontinue Zilcef and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.

Administration
May be taken with or without food. May be taken w/ meals to reduce GI discomfort.
Adult Dose
Pharyngitis & Tonsillitis 500 mg PO qDay for 10 days Respiratory Tract Infections, Skin Infections 250-500 mg q12hr OR 500 mg qDay for10 days
Child Dose
Child: PO 15–30 mg/kg/day q12h
Renal Dose
Renal impairment: CrCl (ml/min) <30 Half normal dose.

Hypersensitivity.
