Ritha powder, which is derived from the fruit of the Indian soapnut tree, is frequently used in ayurvedic treatments and is frequently found in shampoos and other personal care items. Reetha (Aritha) has effective purifying qualities. High concentrations of saponins, a naturally occurring foaming agent. naturally removes dirt from the skin and hair, reduces dandruff, and feeds the hair.

Usage:

As a hair pack:

Add karipata, kalmegh, brikkho raj, brahmi, ritha, hartaki, amlaki, bohera, and methi with shikakai powder, and 5/7 drops of rosemary essential oil and use it 2-3 times a week.

As a shampoo:

In a pot, take 25gms of Ritha powder and 1 litre of water and let it boil. When the water comes down to half a litre, collect the liquid. Let it cool down, add rosemary essential oil and use it as a shampoo. You can store the excess for upto 2 weeks.

For preventing gray hair:

Add kalmegh, brikkho raj, brahmi, amlaki, shikakai powder, ritha and 5/7 drops of eucalyptus essential oil and use it as a hair pack.

For removing lice from hair:

Add kalmegh, methi, amlaki, neem powder, ritha and 4/5 drops of tea tree and eucalyptus essential oil and use it as a hair pack.

সুন্দর চুলের অধিকারী হতে চান তাহলে সপ্তাহে একদিন রিঠা ব্যবহার করুনসুন্দর চুলের অধিকারী কে না হতে চায়। তার জন্য সামান্য যত্ন নিতে হবে। কিভাবে নেবেন?চুলের সমস্যায় আমরা কম বেশি সবাই জর্জরিত। বর্তমান সময়ে বাইরের পলিউশান আমাদের চুল পড়ে যাওয়ার জন্য বেশি দায়ী। তাছাড়া চুলের জন্য ব্যবহৃত শ্যাম্পুতে থাকা কেমিক্যালতো আছেই। কেমিক্যালযুক্ত শ্যাম্পু ব্যবহারের ফলে চুল বেশি মাত্রায় ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হচ্ছে প্রতিনিয়ত। চুলের সমস্যা থেকে রেহাই পেতে ব্যবহার করুন রিঠা। সুন্দর চুলে যদি চান তাহলে সপ্তাহে একদিন রিঠা ব্যবহার করুন চুলের যত্ন নিতে।রিঠা একধরনের ফল। ইংরেজিতে Soapnut বলে। এই রিঠার বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম Sapindus mukorossiএর ব্যবহার সাধারণত হয়ে থাকে সাবান হিসেবে। চুলের জন্য একে একপ্রকারের প্রাকৃতিক শ্যাম্পু বললে খুব একটা ভুল হবে না। ভারতবর্ষে প্রাচীন সময় থেকে রিঠাকে আয়ুর্বেদ শাস্ত্রে নানাভাবে ব্যবহার করা হয়ে এসেছে। বিশেষ করে চুলের যত্ন নেওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে রিঠার নাম সারা বিশ্ব জানে।কেন রিঠা ব্যবহার করা উচিতরিঠা সম্পূর্ণ প্রাকৃতিক গুনাগুণ সম্পন্ন একটি উপাদান। এতে কোন প্রকারের কেমিক্যাল নেই। শ্যাম্পুতে থাকা সোডিয়েম লরেথ সালফেট ও সিলিকনের মত ক্ষতিকারক উপাদান রিঠাতে থাকে না। এই উপাদানগুলি থাকার ফলে বাজার চলতি ভালো কোম্পানির শ্যাম্পু ব্যবহার করলেও চুল পড়া কমে না। বরং চুল বেশি করে উঠে যায়। কিন্তু রিঠা ব্যবহারের ফলে চুলের কোন প্রকার ক্ষতি হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা থাকে না। তাছাড়া চুল পড়া বন্ধ হয়। নতুন চুল গজায়। খুসকি হয় না। উকুন থাকলে মাথায় তা মরে যায়।কিভাবে ব্যবহার করবেন রিঠাএকটি পাত্রে ২৫ গ্রাম রিঠার গুড়া নিয়ে ১ লিটার পানিতে জ্বাল দিন। পানির পরিমান আধা লিটার হয়ে গেলে নামিয়ে ফেলুন। ঠাণ্ডা হলে শ্যাম্পুর মত ব্যবহার করুন। বাকি অংশ আপনি ফ্রিজে দুই সপ্তাহ পর্যন্ত রেখে ব্যবহার করতে পারবেন।সপ্তাহে একবার করে যদি রিঠা শ্যাম্পু রূপে ব্যবহার করেন তাহলে চুলের সমস্যা থাকবেনা বলা যায়। তবে নিয়ম করে ব্যবহার করলে নিয়মিত তবে ফলাফল পাওয়া যাবে। চুলের পরিমান অনুযায়ী রিঠা ব্যবহার করা উচিত। শ্যাম্পু করার সময় ৫ মিনিট ভালো করে মাথা ম্যসাজ করুন।রিঠার উপকারিতা১. রিঠাতে থাকা উপাদান সমূহ চুলের ডগা ফাটা বন্ধ করে দেয়। আমাদের মাথার স্কিন এর যাবতীয় সমস্যার সমাধান হয়।২. চুল প্রাকৃতিক উপাদান দিয়ে পরিষ্কার হওয়ার ফলে চুলের ঘনত্ব বাড়ে। চুল পড়া কমে যায়।৩.উকুনের সমস্যা থাকলে তা সহজে কোন সাইড এফেক্ট ছাড়া সমাধান হয়ে যায়। রিঠা দিয়ে শ্যাম্পু করলে কণ্ডিশনার লাগানোর প্রয়োজন থাকে না। ফলে চুল বেশি ভালো ও মজবুত থাকে।৪.মাথায় একজিমার সমস্যা থাকলে সহজে দূর হয়ে যায় রিঠা ব্যবহারের ফলে।৫.নিয়মিত ব্যবহার করলে যাদের চুল অতিরিক্ত মাথায় কোঁকড়ানো তা সোজা হয়ে যায়। চুল নরম ও মসৃণ করে রিঠা।যা যা খেয়াল রাখা প্রয়োজনচুল শুষ্ক ধরণের হলে অল্প পরিমানে৷রিঠা ব্যবহার করা চুলের জন্য ভালো।সপ্তাহে দুবারের বেশি রিঠা দিয়ে শ্যাম্পুকরবেন না। চুল বেশি মাত্রায় শুষ্ক হয়েযেতে পারে।রিঠা ব্যবহার করলে নিয়মিত সপ্তাহেএকদিন চুলে নারকেল তেল লাগানোভালো। এতে চুল সতেজ ও মজবুতহয়।রিঠা সঠিক পদ্ধতি অনুযায়ী ব্যবহারকরা চুলের জন্য ভালো।
