প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ডোজ

প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক এবং বয়স্ক: প্রতিদিন 2টি ট্যাবলেট, প্রতিদিন সকালে এবং সন্ধ্যায় একটি করে ট্যাবলেট।

শিশু ডোজ

12 বছরের বেশি বয়সী শিশু: প্রতিদিন 2 টি ট্যাবলেট, প্রতিদিন সকালে এবং সন্ধ্যায় একটি করে ট্যাবলেট। 12 বছরের কম বয়সী শিশুদের জন্য প্রস্তাবিত নয়।

হালকা থেকে মাঝারি রেনাল ব্যর্থতা বা হালকা হাইপারক্যালসিউরিয়া রোগীদের সাবধানে তত্ত্বাবধান করা উচিত। হালকা থেকে মাঝারি রেনাল ব্যর্থতা বা হালকা হাইপারক্যালসিয়ামের রোগীদের রক্তরস ক্যালসিয়ামের মাত্রা এবং মূত্রের ক্যালসিয়াম নির্গমনের পর্যায়ক্রমিক পরীক্ষা করা উচিত। প্রস্রাবের ক্যালসিয়াম নির্গমনও পরিমাপ করা উচিত। কিডনিতে পাথরের ইতিহাস সহ রোগীদের ক্ষেত্রে হাইপারক্যালসিউরিয়া বাদ দেওয়ার জন্য প্রস্রাবের ক্যালসিয়াম নিঃসরণ পরিমাপ করা উচিত। দীর্ঘমেয়াদী চিকিত্সার সাথে সিরাম এবং প্রস্রাবের ক্যালসিয়ামের মাত্রা এবং কিডনির কার্যকারিতা নিরীক্ষণ করার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয় এবং প্রস্রাবের ক্যালসিয়াম 7.5mmol/24 ঘন্টার বেশি হলে সাময়িকভাবে চিকিত্সা কমাতে বা বন্ধ করার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয়।

পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া

গ্যাস্ট্রোইনটেস্টাইনাল ব্যাঘাতের হালকা এবং ক্ষণস্থায়ী প্রভাব, যেমন কোষ্ঠকাঠিন্য, পেট ফাঁপা, বমি বমি ভাব, ডায়রিয়া কিছু ব্যক্তির মধ্যে দেখা যেতে পারে। ভিটামিন ডি সম্পূরক গ্রহণের ফলে কিছু বিরল ক্ষেত্রে ত্বকে ফুসকুড়ি হতে পারে। হাইপারক্যালসিউরিয়া উচ্চ মাত্রায় দীর্ঘমেয়াদী ব্যবহারের সাথে দেখা গেছে।

একসাথে ব্যবহার করলে টেট্রাসাইক্লিনের শোষণকে প্রভাবিত করতে পারে। সিস্টেমিক কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েডের সাথে একযোগে ব্যবহার ক্যালসিয়াম শোষণ হ্রাস করতে পারে। থিয়াজাইড মূত্রবর্ধক ক্যালসিয়ামের মূত্রত্যাগ হ্রাস করতে পারে। আয়ন-এক্সচেঞ্জ রেজিনের সাথে একযোগে ব্যবহার ভিটামিন ডি-এর জিআই শোষণকে হ্রাস করতে পারে। হাইপারক্যালসেমিয়া ক্যালসিয়াম এবং ভিটামিন ডি দিয়ে চিকিত্সার সময় কার্ডিয়াক গ্লাইকোসাইডের বিষাক্ততা বাড়াতে পারে, ইসিজি এবং সিরাম ক্যালসিয়ামের মাত্রা নিরীক্ষণ করতে পারে। বিসফসফোনেট বা সোডিয়াম ফ্লোরাইড ক্যালসিয়ামযুক্ত প্রস্তুতির কমপক্ষে 3 ঘন্টা আগে দেওয়া উচিত।
