Sofargen Spray

Sofargen is a topical spray powder dressing formulated with light kaolin and silver sulfadiazine. Light kaolin forms a mechanical barrier against external agents, protecting wounded skin while drawing away and absorbing exudate. The presence of silver sulfadiazine, a metal-organic compound formed by the reaction of silver nitrate and sulfadiazine, prevents microbiological contamination of the dressing and keeps the wound environment free of exogenous bacteria.Sofargen's unique formulation allows for the control of exudate by creating an environment that promotes natural healing while also providing an effective barrier to microbial penetration. The product adheres to the wound edges without being affected by pulling. It is easily removed by washing the wound with saline solution

Indcation:

Indicated for the local treatment of minor skin lesions such as:

• Abrasions, excoriations
• Cuts, superficial wounds
• General dermatological conditions.

Composition:

125ml pressurized can contain 10gm 0f spray powder:

• Light kaolin 9.8 gm
• Micronized silver sulfadiazine 0.1 gm
• Calcium gluconate monohydrate 0.1 gm
• Butane propellant 70.0 gm

Dosage:

• Apply an even layer of Cutaneous Spray to the wound by pressing the spray nozzle for a few seconds.
• Cutaneous Spray must be applied continuously and without interruption once or twice a day until the lesion is fully healed.

Side Effects:

• Temporary irritation or burning sensation may occur.

Storage:

• Store at temperatures below 40°C.
