Micronid Powder – Veterinary Antibiotic (Renata Animal Health Division)
Composition:
Each gram of Micronid Powder contains:

• Erythromycin thiocyanate – 180 mg

• Sulfadiazine – 150 mg

• Trimethoprim – 30 mg

Indications

Micronid Powder is indicated for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections in poultry, including:

• Infectious coryza

• Pullorum disease

• Fowl typhoid

• Fowl cholera

• Colisepticemia

• Enteritis

• Bronchopneumonia

• Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)

Dosage & Administration

• General dose: 1 gram per liter of drinking water for 3–5 consecutive days

• The exact dosage and duration should always follow the advice of a registered veterinary physician

Precautions

• Contraindicated in birds with known hypersensitivity to erythromycin, sulfadiazine, or trimethoprim

• Possible adverse reactions may include hypersensitivity responses and renal toxicity

• Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place below 30°C, protected from moisture and light
