How to use Fluver 10
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fluver 10 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Fluver 10 works
Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Fluver 10 works by preventing loss of tone and dilation of blood vessels, thus preventing the migraine headache.
What if you forget to take Fluver 10?
If you miss a dose of Fluver 10, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Indication
Migraine, Vertigo, Peripheral vascular disease, Cerebrovascular disorders, Vestibular disorders
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Adult Dose
Oral
Prophylaxis of migraine; Prophylaxis of vertigo and vestibular disorders; Prophylaxis of peripheral and cerebrovascular disorders
Adult: 5-10 mg daily at bedtime.
Contraindication
Pregnancy, lactation, GI or urinary tract obstruction, acute porphyrias.
Mode of Action
Flunarizine has H1-receptor blocking action and calcium-channel blocking effect. It has also been used as an adjunct epileptic therapy for patients refractory to standard treatment regimens.
Precaution
Driving or operating machinery, epilepsy, elderly, CVS disease, glaucoma.
Side Effect
Drowsiness. Rarely wt gain, headache, depression, gastric pain, dry mouth, insomnia, extrapyramidal reactions, galactorrhoea.
Interaction
Plasma levels reduced by phenytoin, carbamazepine, valproic acid.
