Pharmasia Product List in Bangladesh

Pharmasia Ltd manufactures in Bangladesh, and the grid above is part of the range Arogga carries. It covers the gut, acid, vitamins, blood pressure, nerve pain, skin and men’s health.

Every name below is given with the generic it contains, because on this catalogue the names give nothing away and several of them are prescription medicines that require understanding.

Pharmasia, Pharmacia and ফার্মাসিয়া

The registered name is Pharmasia Ltd, with an s. It is often written Pharmacia with a c, which is a different company name entirely and an easy substitution to make when the word is unfamiliar.

It is also searched as Pharmasia Limited, Pharmasia Pharmaceuticals Ltd, and in Bangla as ফার্মাসিয়া প্রোডাক্ট লিস্ট. All of them reach this range.

The Pharmasia Product List

The list is what nearly everyone arrives for. There is no downloadable file: a registration is added or withdrawn without notice, and the grid above is generated from live stock instead.

What a list cannot do is say what is inside a name. Ezylife, Xelpro, Bionic and Prestorin announce nothing, and one of them is the most opened listing this manufacturer has.

Ezylife and Constipation

All three are sodium picosulfate, a stimulant laxative, and between them they are by a very wide margin the most opened part of this catalogue. They sit under Gastrointestinal System.

How it works and when it acts

A stimulant laxative acts on the nerve endings in the bowel wall to increase movement, rather than drawing water in the way an osmotic laxative does. It is taken at night because it works over six to twelve hours, and the syrup exists because it is easier to give a measured dose to a child or an older adult.

Why it is a short-term medicine

Stimulant laxatives are for occasional use. Taken daily over long stretches, the bowel becomes less responsive without them, which is the opposite of what anyone wants, and constipation that keeps returning deserves investigating rather than managing indefinitely.

Fibre, fluid and movement do more for ordinary constipation than any tablet. Blood, unexplained weight loss or a sudden change in bowel habit are reasons to be seen rather than to buy a laxative.

Acid, Reflux and the Gut

Four mechanisms, not four brands

An alginate forms a raft on top of the stomach contents and works within minutes, which is what suits reflux after a meal. A proton pump inhibitor shuts down acid production and is judged over several days. A potassium-competitive blocker does the same job faster and is less tied to taking it before food. A prokinetic does nothing to acid at all and answers fullness and nausea after eating.

Burning points to the acid group; fullness and bloating point to the prokinetic; and the alginate is the one for immediate relief. Prescriptions often pair the first two, which is not the same as them being interchangeable. The antacids sit under Dyspepsia.

Vitamins, Calcium and the Sweetener

The B-vitamin tablet is prescribed alongside tingling, numbness, and nerve-related pain, and it helps where those come from a genuine B12 or B1 shortfall. Where the cause is a trapped nerve or poorly controlled diabetes, it does not, and establishing which is worth more than a long course. It belongs with Combined Vitamin Preparations.

Calcium is paired with vitamin D because that is what allows the gut to absorb it; calcium without it does considerably less than the number on the box suggests. Both sit under Mineral Preparations.

Blood Pressure, Cholesterol and the Heart

A combination blood pressure tablet exists because most people need more than one mechanism to reach a target, and taking two drugs as one tablet is the difference between a regimen that gets followed and one that does not.

Neither the statin nor the blood pressure tablet produces any sensation, which is why both get stopped. What they are doing shows up in a blood test and in risk measured over years rather than in how anyone feels.

Nerve Pain, Sleep and Men’s Health

Started slowly, stopped slowly.

The two nerve-pain medicines cause drowsiness and unsteadiness early on and are reduced gradually rather than stopped. The benzodiazepine builds tolerance and physical dependence with regular use rather than with misuse, and its dose comes down in steps.

The prostate combination carries the tadalafil warning ahead of everything else: taken with a nitrate medicine for angina it can drop blood pressure dangerously, and that pairing is avoided rather than spaced out.

Melasin, and What It Actually Is

Melasin Cream 0.01%+4%+0.05% is not a cosmetic. It contains fluocinolone 0.01%, hydroquinone 4% and tretinoin 0.05% — a corticosteroid, a depigmenting agent and a retinoid in one base — and it is the prescription combination used for melasma, under Dermatological Preparations.

What the ingredients genuinely do. Hydroquinone blocks tyrosinase, the enzyme that makes melanin, so the patches of melasma fade while it is in use. Tretinoin speeds cell turnover and helps the hydroquinone reach where it is needed. The steroid reduces the irritation the other two cause. It is an effective treatment for a defined condition, which is precisely why it is prescribed rather than sold.

What they do not do. Neither lightens the skin overall. Melasma is a specific pattern of pigmentation with a specific treatment; general skin tone is genetic, and nothing in this tube alters it. Used as a general lightening cream, it is being used off-label for something it does not achieve.

What actually decides the result. Sun protection, without which melasma returns faster than any cream fades it, and a time limit.

Why the time limit matters

Hydroquinone at 4% is prescription strength. Prolonged unsupervised use can cause exogenous ochronosis, a permanent blue-black discolouration far harder to treat than the melasma it was applied for. The steroid in the same tube thins skin over time, and tretinoin is avoided in pregnancy. This is a medicine that needs a doctor, a review date and an end.

The Other Skin Preparations

Retinoids and steroid combinations

Two points worth making. An acne gel containing a retinoid is applied thinly at night and makes skin markedly more sensitive to sun, and it is not used in pregnancy. And a steroid added to an antifungal settles redness while the fungus carries on underneath, so where a rash is only fungal, the plain antifungal is the better choice.

Infection, Allergy and Breathing

A tablet, not a stronger cream

Voriconazole is worth distinguishing from the creams above it: it is a tablet for invasive fungal infection, started under specialist care, with a long list of interactions. It is not a stronger version of an antifungal cream.

An antibiotic course runs to its end even once the symptoms have gone, and leftovers are not kept for the next illness. Montelukast is a preventer taken on a schedule and does nothing for a flare already underway.

Prescription Status

Most of this range is prescription-only, including all the acid medicines, both antibiotics, the oral antifungal, the benzodiazepine, both nerve-pain medicines, the statin, the blood pressure and liver medicines, the prostate combination, Melasin and the steroid-containing creams.

The vitamins, calcium, sweetener, lubricant and the warming rub are the exceptions. Where the law requires a prescription, Arogga collects one, and a pharmacist reviews the order before it is dispatched. Check the generic and the strength against the prescription; the brand name on the box is not what was prescribed.

Where Pharmasia Sits on Arogga

This page holds one manufacturer. A shelf gathers one molecule from every manufacturer that makes it, which is what a prescription written against a generic needs.

Where a prescription names esomeprazole or pregabalin, or rosuvastatin, the shelf puts every registered brand side by side. Registrations and packs change, so read the listing rather than this page for either.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Ezylife used for?

It is sodium picosulfate, a stimulant laxative, taken at night because it works over six to twelve hours. It is for occasional use: taken daily over long stretches the bowel becomes less responsive without it. Constipation that keeps returning is worth investigating rather than managing from a shelf.

2. What is the difference between Xelpro, Exilant, Novonil and Gavicool?

Four mechanisms. Gavicool is an alginate that forms a raft and works in minutes. Xelpro is esomeprazole, and Exilant is dexlansoprazole, both proton pump inhibitors judged over days. Novonil is vonoprazan, a different class that acts faster. Maxito is none of these — it speeds stomach emptying and does nothing to acid.

3. What is Melasin Cream?

Fluocinolone, hydroquinone 4% and tretinoin — the prescription combination for melasma. It is a medicine, not a cosmetic. It does not change your natural skin colour, it is used in defined courses under a doctor, and prolonged unsupervised use can cause a permanent discolouration harder to treat than melasma itself.

4. Is Pyrica the same as Neurolife?

The same family rather than the same drug. Pyrica is pregabalin, and Neurolife is mirogabalin, a newer medicine of that class. Both are for nerve pain, both cause drowsiness and unsteadiness at first, and both are reduced gradually rather than stopped.

5. Can I use Peviderm on any rash?

Only where a doctor wants the steroid in it. Peviderm adds triamcinolone to an antifungal, which settles redness faster while the fungus carries on underneath. For a rash that is only fungal, Lumilac is the plain antifungal and the better choice.

6. Is there a Pharmasia product list PDF?

Not on Arogga. The grid above is drawn from live stock, so it keeps pace with registrations and packs that a saved file cannot. Each listing carries the generic, the strength, and the current price on its own page.
