Imagic Lipstick, Concealer and Makeup in Bangladesh

Imagic, sold as Imagic Professional Cosmetics, is a colour makeup brand. Its range on Arogga is built on two things: waterproof matte lipsticks with matching lip liners, and a deep set of concealers across two systems.

Nothing here sits outside Makeup. The sections below are organised by what each product does, and shade numbers are explained where they matter.

The Name Is Written Two Ways

The brand is written Imagic as one word, and is very commonly typed i magic as two.

Both are the same brand. The registered product names use one word, sometimes as and sometimes in capitals as, and the full brand name on the packaging is.

Waterproof Matte Lipsticks

Under Lipsticks, numbered upward from 805 with a shade name attached to each number. Further shades in the same series sit beside these in the grid.

Long-wear matte is drying by design

The property that keeps a matte colour in place all day is the same one that leaves lips feeling tight. That is not a fault in the product; it is how the format works.

A balm underneath, applied a few minutes beforehand and blotted, is what makes one comfortable for a full day. A balm over the top afterwards breaks the finish and shortens the wear.

Prep matters more than technique

Matte colour clings to any dry flake and makes it obvious. A gentle exfoliation the night before, and a balm that has had time to sink in, does more for the result than the way it is applied.

The Professional Cosmetics Lipstick Line

A second lipstick line under the fuller brand name, identified by shade number rather than by a colour name, with more shades in the grid above.

The numbers on this line and on the 8xx line are separate systems, so Shade 14 here has nothing to do with any number in the other range. The swatch on each listing is the only reliable guide, and screens differ enough that it should be treated as an approximation of tone rather than a match.

Lip Liners

A set of liners under Lip Liners, each carrying an LP code and a colour name.

What a liner is actually for

It gives the colour an edge to stop against, which is what prevents feathering into the fine lines around the mouth. On a long-wear matte that matters more than it does with a gloss.

Filling in the whole lip with liner before the lipstick also makes the colour last noticeably longer, because the liner stays put when the lipstick starts to wear from the centre.

Liquid Concealer and Corrector

Under Concealers, in the 122x series, with further shades in the grid.

The orange one is a corrector, not a concealer

That distinction is worth knowing before buying. A corrector cancels a colour rather than covering it, and orange or peach sits opposite blue and purple on the colour wheel — which is why it is used on dark under-eye shadows on deeper skin tones.

It goes under the concealer in a thin layer, not instead of it. Used on its own it reads as an orange patch.

High Coverage Sculpting Concealer

The 141x series runs from Fair through to Tan and is the deepest single product family in the range, with more shades in the grid above.

Matching a shade you cannot swatch

Buying concealer online is the hardest shade match there is. Two things help: match it to your rather than your hand, and choose a shade at or just above your foundation rather than markedly lighter.

The trend for a very light under-eye concealer works on camera and reads as a grey patch in daylight. One step lighter is the most that usually looks natural.

Set it or it moves

High-coverage concealer creases into fine lines within a few hours unless a little loose or pressed powder is patted over it. A small amount is enough — too much makes the area look dry and emphasises exactly what the concealer was covering.

Powder Foundation

A two-in-one pressed powder, under Face Makeup. It can be used dry as a setting powder over foundation, or damp as a light foundation on its own.

In humid weather the dry-over-foundation use is what keeps makeup in place; using it damp on skin that is already oily tends to go patchy by the afternoon.

Eyeliner, Kajal and Mascara

Under Eyeliner & Kajal, with the mascara on the neighbouring shelf.

Eye products have a short life and are never shared

Replace mascara every three months or so and liquid liner not much later, because both are wet products used next to the eye and both grow bacteria once opened.

Never share either, never top a drying mascara up with water or anything else, and throw away anything used while you had an eye infection. The eye is the one place a contaminated product causes trouble quickly.

Nude kajal on the waterline

A nude or beige kajal on the lower waterline makes eyes look more open, which is what it is for. Keep any pencil used there clean and sharpened, and stop using it if the eye becomes red or gritty.

Lip Gloss

Two glosses under Lip Glosses. A gloss over a matte lipstick in the centre of the lip is the usual way to soften a very flat finish without losing the colour underneath.

Building a Face From This Range

The catalogue covers a complete base and a complete lip, which is unusual for a range this size, and the order the layers go on decides how long any of it lasts.

Corrector, concealer, powder

Corrector first and only where it is needed, concealer over it, then powder to set. Reversing any two of those is the usual reason a base looks cakey by mid-morning.

Liner, then lipstick, then gloss if you want it

The liner defines the edge and holds the colour in, the lipstick fills, and a touch of gloss in the centre softens a very flat matte without losing the shade underneath.

Let the base settle before the eyes

Powder that has had a minute to set will not lift when liner is drawn over it, and fallout from an eye product brushes off a set base far more easily than a fresh one.

Removing Long-Wear Makeup

Everything in this range is built to stay put, which makes taking it off its own step.

Waterproof liner, mascara and a long-wear matte lipstick do not come off with water and a face wash. An oil-based or micellar cleanser lifts them first, and the wash comes after that.

Do not scrub, particularly around the eyes. Hold a soaked pad against closed lashes for twenty seconds and let the product dissolve rather than rubbing it away — repeated rubbing there is a genuine cause of lash loss and irritation.

Where Imagic Sits on Arogga

This page collects one brand. The shelves collect one product type across brands, which is the comparison worth making when the choice is between this concealer and another at the same coverage.

Shades move in and out of stock faster in makeup than anywhere else on the site, so the listing is the record for both shade and availability.

About Imagic

Imagic Professional Cosmetics is a colour makeup brand, and its range on Arogga is concentrated rather than broad: lipsticks and lip liners on one side, concealers on the other, with a powder foundation, eye products and two glosses completing it.

Shades are identified by number across every line, and the numbering systems are separate — the 8xx lipsticks, the 122x liquid concealers, the 141x sculpting concealers and the LP-4xx liners each run on their own.

The name appears as Imagic and IMAGIC on the listings, and is searched as i magic in two words nearly as often as in one.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is “i magic” the same brand as Imagic?

Yes. It is one word on the packaging — sometimes written and sometimes — and the full name is Imagic Professional Cosmetics. It is typed as two words nearly as often as one.

2. How do I choose a lipstick shade from a number?

The swatch on each listing is the only guide, and the numbering systems are separate — Shade 14 on the Professional line has nothing to do with any 8xx number. Treat a swatch as an approximation of tone, because screens differ.

3. Why does matte lipstick feel drying?

Because the property that keeps the colour in place all day is the same one that leaves lips tight. A balm underneath, applied a few minutes beforehand and blotted, fixes it. A balm over the top breaks the finish and shortens the wear.

4. Do I need a lip liner?

It gives the colour an edge to stop against, which prevents feathering into fine lines — more of an issue with a long-wear matte than with a gloss. Filling the whole lip with liner first also makes the colour last noticeably longer.

5. What is the orange concealer for?

It is a corrector rather than a concealer. Orange sits opposite blue on the colour wheel, so it cancels dark under-eye shadows on deeper skin tones. It goes under the concealer in a thin layer, never instead of it — on its own it reads as an orange patch.

6. How do I match a concealer shade online?

Match it to your neck rather than your hand, and choose at or just above your foundation rather than markedly lighter. A very light under-eye shade works on camera and reads as a grey patch in daylight; one step lighter is usually the most that looks natural.

7. How often should mascara and eyeliner be replaced?

Mascara about every three months and liquid liner not much later. Both are wet products used next to the eye and both grow bacteria once opened. Never share them, never top mascara up with water, and discard anything used during an eye infection.

8. How do I remove waterproof makeup properly?

An oil-based or micellar cleanser first, then a face wash — water alone will not shift it. Around the eyes, hold a soaked pad against closed lashes for twenty seconds and let it dissolve rather than rubbing, which causes lash loss and irritation.
