Laxzin Skincare and Haircare in Bangladesh

Laxzin covers skin and hair in roughly equal measure — shampoos and conditioner, a hair and body oil, face cleansers, active serums and a moisturiser — and a large part of the catalogue is sold as two-product bundles.

Skincare carries the larger half of the range. The sections below take the single products one at a time, since those are what a routine is actually built from.

Single Products and Bundles

More than half the listings in the grid above pair one product with another — a cleanser with a serum, a shampoo with a conditioner. The rest are sold singly.

A bundle is worth buying when both halves are things you were going to use anyway. It is worth avoiding when one half is an active you have not tried, because if your skin reacts you will not know which of the two caused it. The sections below name the single products so you can start with one.

Hair and Body Oil

Laxzin Hair & Body Olive Oil 100ml – Natural Moisturizing Oil for Hair Growth, Skin Hydration, Scalp Nourishment & Shine is the most looked-up product in the range.

Oil worked into the scalp and left an hour before washing softens the hair shaft and reduces breakage during combing. Less breakage looks like less hair loss, and for many people that is the whole of the effect — it does not create new follicles.

Leave it an hour rather than overnight. Oil sitting on the scalp through a warm night feeds the yeast behind dandruff, which is why an overnight oiling habit and a persistent flaky scalp so often go together.

Shampoos

The shampoo line splits three ways, each in two bottle sizes:

An anti-dandruff shampoo needs time on the scalp

The active has to sit on the skin to work, and most people wash it straight out. Lather it into the scalp rather than the hair, leave it three to five minutes, then rinse.

Dandruff is managed rather than cured, so it returns when the shampoo stops. Use it two or three times a week continuously rather than in bursts when it flares.

What an anti-hair-fall shampoo can do

A shampoo is on the scalp for a couple of minutes and then washed away, so it works on the condition of the hair and the scalp rather than on the follicle.

Shedding after an illness, a fever, childbirth or rapid weight loss usually recovers over some months on its own. Round bald patches with a clear edge, a scaly or scarring scalp, or a parting that keeps widening are different conditions and want a doctor.

Conditioner and Hair Serum

Laxzin Smooth & Silky Conditioner 200ml and Laxzin Multi-Peptide Hair Serum 30ml finish the hair range.

Conditioner goes on the lengths and the ends, not the scalp, because that is where the damage is and the scalp makes its own oil. A leave-in serum goes on damp hair rather than dry, where it does very little.

Face Cleansers

A cleanser is on the face for under a minute before it goes down the drain, which makes the actives in one a small bonus rather than the reason to buy it. Twice a day is right for almost everybody, and washing more does not fix oily skin — stripping the surface makes it produce more.

A cleansing oil is for taking sunscreen and makeup off in the evening, followed by a water-based wash. On its own it leaves a film that some skins tolerate and others break out from.

Active Serums

Three single-active serums sit at the centre of the skincare range:

What each one acts on

Niacinamide stops finished pigment being passed to the surface cells, helps the barrier hold water and moderates oil, which is why it turns up in acne ranges as well as pigment ones. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that also interferes with pigment production. Alpha arbutin slows the enzyme that makes pigment in the first place.

All three work on uneven patches and all three are slow. Expect a couple of months on an older mark, not a couple of weeks, and do not use more than the label says — more often is not faster, and niacinamide at high strengths can flush and sting.

What they do not do

These even out darker marks against the skin around them. They do not change the skin colour you were born with, and melanin is what protects skin against ultraviolet damage in the first place.

Daily sun protection is what decides the result, because ultraviolet light remakes that pigment faster than any serum fades it. A serum used without sunscreen is being asked to undo something created again every morning.

Vitamin C needs keeping properly

Vitamin C oxidises in light and air. Keep the bottle closed and out of the sun, and if it has turned deep orange or brown it is past doing much. Use it in the morning under sunscreen rather than at night.

Moisturiser

The moisturising step is covered by the Hydro Boost cream, sold in the grid above as part of a pair with the alpha arbutin serum.

Apply a moisturiser to skin that is still damp rather than fully dry, which is where most of the difference comes from. Oily skin still needs one; skipping it is a common reason oil production climbs.

Building a Routine Without Buying a Bundle

The order is cleanser, serum, moisturiser, and sunscreen last in the morning. At night the same without the sunscreen.

One new thing at a time

Add a single product and give it two weeks before adding another. Starting two actives together means that when something stings you will not know which to stop, which is the practical argument against beginning with a bundle.

Patch test anything new on the inner forearm for a day first. Stop at redness that does not settle, weeping, or a rash that spreads.

When the barrier is the problem

Products that never used to sting now do. Skin pulls after washing and stays tight. Flaking appears in patches and redness settles in. That is a damaged barrier rather than skin that needs something stronger.

Stop every active for a fortnight and use only a gentle wash, a plain moisturiser and sunscreen. Adding a repairing product while continuing what caused the damage rarely gets anywhere.

About Laxzin

Laxzin is a skincare and haircare brand sold in Bangladesh, built around single-active serums, a three-way shampoo line and a set of face cleansers, with a hair and body oil that outsells the rest of the range in search.

Sizes, full ingredient lists and current availability are on each product page rather than here, because they change with the batch. The grid above carries what is in stock, including the bundles.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Should I buy a bundle or single products?

Buy a bundle when both halves are things you were going to use anyway. Start with singles when one half is an active you have not tried, because if your skin reacts to a pair you will not know which one caused it.

2. How long should an anti-dandruff shampoo stay on?

Three to five minutes, lathered into the scalp rather than the hair. Most people wash it straight out, which is why it seems not to work. Dandruff is managed rather than cured, so use it two or three times a week continuously.

3. Should I leave hair oil on overnight?

An hour is enough and overnight can make things worse. Oil sitting on the scalp through a warm night feeds the yeast behind dandruff, which is why overnight oiling and a persistently flaky scalp often go together.

4. Will an anti-hair-fall shampoo stop hair loss?

It works on the hair and scalp rather than the follicle, since it is rinsed off in minutes. Shedding after illness, fever, childbirth or weight loss usually recovers by itself. Round bald patches or a widening parting need a doctor.

5. What is the difference between niacinamide, vitamin C and alpha arbutin?

Niacinamide stops finished pigment reaching the surface and helps the barrier. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that also interferes with pigment production. Alpha arbutin slows the enzyme that makes it. All three are slow and all work on uneven patches.

6. Will these serums make my skin fairer?

No. They even out darker marks against the surrounding skin, which is a different thing from lightening it. Nothing here changes your natural colouring, and daily sun protection decides how much difference any of it makes.

7. Why has my vitamin C serum turned brown?

It has oxidised. Vitamin C breaks down in light and air, so keep the bottle closed and out of the sun. Once it is deep orange or brown it is past doing much. Use it in the morning under sunscreen.
