If you miss a dose of Firmagon, please consult your doctor.
- Firmagon helps in the treatment of advanced hormone-dependent prostate cancer.
- It is give by injection under the skin (subcutaneously), usually in the stomach area.
- It may cause dizziness and blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
- It may cause hot flashes. Try wearing loose clothing and avoid alcohol, caffeine, and spicy foods.
- Inform your doctor if you are diabetic or have problems with your heart, kidney or liver.
