Medicine Price in Bangladesh

A Bangladeshi medicine pack carries a printed maximum retail price, approved through the Directorate General of Drug Administration. Between listings, the price moves with four things: the manufacturer, the strength, the dosage form and the pack.

Form makes the biggest jumps. An injection or an inhaler costs far more to make than a tablet of the same class, and imported insulin, cancer medicine and biologics sit well above anything made locally.
