INDICATION

Respiratory tract, (Staphylococci and Pneumococci) skin and soft tissue, Dental , nasopharyngeal infections.

DOSAGE

Mild to moderately severe infection 150 to 300 mg 6 hourly
Severe infections: 300 to 450 mg 6 hourly

DRUG INDICATIONS

Hypersenstivity to clindamycin or Lincomycin, Newborns and infants. Meningitis, Antagonism between clindamycin and Erythromycin

SPECIAL PRECATIONS

Use in atopic inidividuals and renal impairment.
Paediatrics: contraindicated in infants.
Pregnancy: Contraindicated
Lactation: Contraindicated
Elderly: Increased risk of side effects.
