পূর্বে বিদ্যমান সিএনএস হতাশা বা কোমা, রেসপি ডিপ্রেশন, তীব্র পালমোনারি অপ্রতুলতা বা ঘুমের শ্বাসকষ্ট; গুরুতর হেপাটিক বৈকল্য; ক্রনিক সাইকোসিস, ফোবিক বা অবসেসনাল অবস্থার জন্য নির্দেশিত নয়; আত্মহত্যা বা আক্রমনাত্মক আচরণকে প্ররোচিত করতে পারে, বিষণ্নতা বা বিষণ্নতার সাথে সম্পর্কিত উদ্বেগের চিকিত্সার জন্য একা ব্যবহার করা হয় না; গ্লুকোমা

দীর্ঘস্থায়ী পালমোনারি অপ্রতুলতা; বয়স্ক বা দুর্বল রোগী; পেশী দুর্বলতা, প্রতিবন্ধী লিভার বা কিডনি ফাংশন; তন্দ্রা দক্ষ কাজ প্রভাবিত করতে পারে; গভীর ঘুমের জন্য ব্যবহৃত কার্ডিও-শ্বাসযন্ত্রের ফাংশন নিরীক্ষণ; ব্যক্তিত্ব ব্যাধি বা জৈব মস্তিষ্কের পরিবর্তন রোগীদের; গর্ভাবস্থা এবং স্তন্যদান; নির্ভরতার ঝুঁকির কারণে অ্যালকোহল বা মাদকাসক্তির ইতিহাস। প্যারেন্টেরাল অ্যাডমিনিস্ট্রেশনের সাথে resp ডিপ্রেশন এবং হাইপোটেনশন, তাই এই রুটটি শুধুমাত্র তখনই ব্যবহার করা উচিত যখন resp ডিপ্রেশন বিপরীত করার সুবিধা পাওয়া যায়।

তন্দ্রা, অবসাদ, পেশী দুর্বলতা এবং অ্যাটাক্সিয়া; কম ঘন ঘন মাথা ঘোরা, মাথাব্যথা, বিভ্রান্তি, বিষণ্নতা, ঝাপসা বক্তৃতা, কামশক্তির পরিবর্তন, কাঁপুনি, চাক্ষুষ ব্যাঘাত, প্রস্রাব ধারণ, জিআই ব্যাঘাত, লালা এবং স্মৃতিভ্রংশের পরিবর্তন; কদাচিৎ, জন্ডিস, রক্তের ব্যাধি এবং অতি সংবেদনশীলতা প্রতিক্রিয়া; ব্যথা এবং থ্রম্বোফ্লেবিটিস; লিভার এনজাইম মান উত্থাপিত; প্যারাডক্সিক্যাল উত্তেজনা।
