মৌখিক বিষণ্নতা প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: হাইড্রোক্লোরাইড হিসাবে: প্রতিদিন 25-75 মিলিগ্রাম 3 বিভক্ত ডোজে, ধীরে ধীরে 25 মিলিগ্রাম বৃদ্ধি 1-2 সপ্তাহের ব্যবধানে প্রয়োজনে 150 মিলিগ্রাম/দিনে। গুরুতরভাবে বিষণ্ণ রোগীদের মধ্যে 225 মিলিগ্রাম/দিন পর্যন্ত। বয়স্ক: প্রাথমিক: প্রতিদিন 25 মিলিগ্রাম। প্রয়োজনে প্রতিদিন 50-75 মিলিগ্রামের প্রতিক্রিয়া অনুযায়ী ধীরে ধীরে বৃদ্ধি পেতে পারে।
