It is also used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. Nimovo 500 should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. Nimovo 500 is a combination of two medicines: Naproxen and Esomeprazole which relieve pain. Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Esomeprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor.which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and prevents damage to the stomach lining caused by Naproxen.
