Tempol PLUS may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Tempol PLUS should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
UNSAFE
Tempol PLUS may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
CAUTION
Tempol PLUS should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tempol PLUS may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, Tempol PLUS contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.

How to use Tempol PLUS
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tempol PLUS may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Tempol PLUS with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
How Tempol PLUS works
Tempol PLUS is a combination of two medicines: Caffeine and Paracetamol/Acetaminophen. Caffeine narrows the blood vessels in the brain to reduce headache. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain. Together, they relieve headache effectively.
