How to use Scabex 15gm Cream
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Quick Tips
- HHMite Cream is prescribed for the treatment of scabies( a condition where tiny insects infest and irritate your skin).
- It also comes as a lotion, which can be used for the treatment of head lice.
- It should be used as per dose and duration suggested by your doctor.
- If the condition persists after 14 days of treatment then the doctor may suggest another treatment.
- Apply a thin layer of this medicine all over the body and leave it for 8-14 hours before taking a bath or shower.
- Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.

Apply to skin surfaces from neck to toes. Wash off after 8-14 hr.
May reapply in 7 days
Pediculosis capitis, Pediculosis pubis
Apply to washed hair and leave on for 10 mins before rinsing with water.
May reapply in 7 days

Children over 12 years(30 gm tube) : A full tube.
Children aged 6-12 years : Up to 1/2 of a tube.
Children aged 1-5 years : Up to 1/4 of a tube.
Children aged 2 months to 1 year: Up to 1/8 of a tube.

Apply to washed hair and leave on for 10 mins before rinsing with water.

Contraindication
Hypersensitivity.
Mode of Action
Permethrin is a pyrethroid pediculocide and scabicide. It causes paralysis and death of the pest by inhibiting sodium ion influx through nerve cell membrane channels delaying repolarisation.
Precaution
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Cross-sensitivity may occur with ragweed or chrysanthemums. History of asthma. Pregnancy and lactation.
Lactation: Not known if distributed in breast milk; may temporarily withhold the drug while the mother is nursing
