Introduction

Jonort is a unique preparation of standardized extract ofJonort , which is widely used as effective herbal medicine in the treatment of depression. The major active constituents ofJonort are hypericin, hyperforin, hyperoside, quercitrin and rich in vitamin C. Jonort possesses antidepressant activity which inhibits re-uptake of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, noradrenaline, γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and L-glutamate. It has also inhibiting activity of Monoamine oxidase (MAO) and Catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT).

How Jonort work

Jonort is most commonly used to treat for mild to moderate depression and conditions that sometimes go along with depression such as anxiety, tiredness, loss of appetite and insomnia. Administration

Child Dose

Not recommended for children.

Renal Dose

Contraindication

Contraindicated in patient with a known hypersensitivity to silymarin.
