How to use Asunra 400
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Asunra 400 is to be taken empty stomach.
How Asunra 400 works
Asunra 400 traps and removes excess iron which is then excreted mainly in the stools. This reduces the risk of organ damage.
What if you forget to take Asunra 400?
If you miss a dose of Asunra 400, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Quick Tips
Always take deferasirox tablet on an empty stomach by dissolving into a glass of water.
Do not chew, crush, break or swallow the tablets as a whole.
Deferasirox may cause dizziness. It is advisable not to drive or operate any machinery until you feel normal again.
Avoid taking deferasirox if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breast feeding.
