Peflox Vet 10gm – Broad-Spectrum Antibiotic Powder

Peflox Vet 10gm powder contains Pefloxacin Mesylate (equivalent to 1g Pefloxacin per 10g), a potent bactericidal antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase for poultry, pigeons, fish, and shrimp bacterial infections.

 

Key Composition

Each 10g sachet delivers 1g Pefloxacin—effective against Gram-positive/negative bacteria and Mycoplasma.

 

Primary Indications

Poultry/Pigeons: Salmonellosis, Colisepticemia, CRD, Infectious Coryza, Pasteurellosis, Mycoplasmosis, secondary infections post-Gumboro/Newcastle.
Fish/Shrimp: Aeromonas, Septicemia, Furunculosis, Columnaris, Vibriosis, Bacterial Gill Disease.

 

Dosage Guidelines

Purpose Poultry/Pigeons Duration
Prevention 1g/2-4L water (2.5-5mg/kg) 3-5 days
Treatment 1g/1L water (10mg/kg) 3-5 days
 
 

Fish/Shrimp: 1g/20kg body weight, 3-5 days. Adjust water intake; vet directed.

 

Safety Notes

Well-tolerated; no common side effects. Reduce egg production in layers. Avoid with chloramphenicol/macrolides/nitrofurans, or iron/aluminum supplements. Meat withdrawal: 7 days. Store below 30°C, dry, light-protected.
