Each sachet contains
Analyzed: Sodium Bicarbonate BP 10.0 g; Magnesium Oxide (Heavy) BP 3.0 g
Enriched: Ammonium Bicarbonate (Feed Grade), Nux Vomica (Feed Grade), Gentian Powder(Feed
Grade), Ginger Powder (Feed Grade), Simethicone Powder

Mode of action
1. Simethicone: This breaks the gas bubble and releases the gas easily
2. Magnesium Oxide: Acts as an antacid
3. Ammonium bicarbonate: During high temperature and in different stress conditions, animals
suffer from loss of excess bicarbonate ion. DG8 Vet powder maintains the bicarbonate ion balance
of the livestock.
4. Sodium bicarbonate: Sodium bicarbonate acts as an antacid and increases the gastric pH. As a
result animals get rid of gastritis. If the formation of bicarbonate from the lactic acid by the
carbohydrate metabolism delayed/ stopped, excess lactic acid is formed. Sodium bicarbonate helps
in decreasing the excess acid.
5. Gentian powder: Gentian powder is an appetizer & helps in digestion. It also helps in mucous
and bile secretion. It also act as carminative.
6. Ginger powder: Ginger powder helps against Dyspepsia, Flatulence & Colic & also helps in
secretion of gastric juices.
7. Nuxvomica: Can be used against rheumatic diseases such as; Arthritis, Paralysis, sexual, nervous
and mental weakness, etc.

Indications
Indigestion, Loss of Appetite, Flatulence
Dosage & administration
Cattle, buffalo & horses: 1-3 sachet twice daily.
Calf, goat & ram: ¼ - ½ sachet twice daily.
Or, as per direction of veterinary consultant

Precaution
Store in cool and dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children. Once opened the
sachet should be used quickly.
