মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি

প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের জন্য শুরুতে ৫ মিগ্রা মিরোগাবালিন দিনে দুইবার সেবন করতে হবে। তারপর এক সপ্তাহ পরপর ৫ মিগ্রা করে বাড়িয়ে ১৫ মিগ্রা করতে হবে এবং দিনে দুইবার সেবন করতে হবে। মূলত বয়স এবং লক্ষণ অনুযায়ী ১০-১৫ মিগ্রা মিরোগাবালিন দিনে দুইবার সেবন করতে হবে। * চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী ওষুধ খান

ঔষধের মিথষ্ক্রিয়া

মিরোগাবালিন Cytochrome P450 isoenzymes-কে প্রভাবিত করে না বা বাঁধা দেয় না। Cimetidine বা Probenecid এর সাথে সেবনে মিরোগাবালিন এর প্লাজমার ঘনত্ব বেড়ে যেতে পারে। Alcohol বা Lorazepam এর সাথে সেবনে CNS এর depressive effects আরও বেড়ে যেতে পারে।

প্রতিনির্দেশনা

যাদের মিরোগাবালিন এর প্রতি হাইপারসেন্সিটিভিটির সম্ভাবনা আছে তাদের এই ওষুধ সেবনে বিরত থাকা উচিৎ। যাদের মাঝারি থেকে মারাত্মক বৃত্তীয় এবং মূত্রনালির সমস্যা আছে তাদের ক্ষেত্রেও মিরোগাবালিন সেবন অনুচিত।

পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া

সাধারণ পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়াগুলো হলো:- মাথাঘোরা, ঘুম ঘুম ভাব, এডেমা এবং ওজন বেড়ে যাওয়া। নিচের লক্ষণগুলো দেখা দিলে অবশ্যই ডাক্তার এর কাছে যেতে হবে। মাথায় বল না পাওয়া, অচেতন হয়ে যাওয়া। জেনারেল মেলাইজ, ক্ষুধা মন্দা, বমি এবং জন্ডিস।

সতর্কতা

মিরোগাবালিন সেবনে মাথাঘোরা, ঘুম ঘুম ভাব এবং অজ্ঞান হবার সম্ভাবনা থাকে। তাই ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ যন্ত্রাংশ বা গাড়ি চালাবার সময় সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করতে হবে। মিরোগাবালিন সেবনে ওজন বেড়ে যেতে পারে মিরোগাবালিন সেবনে ঝাপসা দেখার সম্ভাবনা থাকে ।
