📋 Description

Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride is a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the tetracycline group. It is widely used in veterinary medicine to prevent and treat bacterial infections in poultry, cattle, sheep, goats, and swine.

🧪 Composition

• Each 1g contains: Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride 200mg (20%)

• Carrier: q.s.

⚙️ Indications

Used for the treatment and prevention of infections caused by chlortetracycline-sensitive organisms, such as:

• Respiratory infections (CRD, pneumonia, pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis)

• Gastrointestinal infections (colibacillosis, salmonellosis, enteritis)

• Other bacterial infections in poultry, calves, goats, sheep, and swine

💊 Dosage & Administration (General Guideline)

• Poultry: 1g per 1–2 liters of drinking water for 3–5 days

• Calves, goats, sheep: 1g per 10–15 kg body weight, daily for 3–5 days

• Swine: 1g per 10–15 kg body weight, daily for 3–5 days

(Dosage may vary depending on veterinary advice, animal species, weight, and disease condition)

⚠️ Withdrawal Period

• Meat: 7 days

• Eggs & Milk: Not for use in animals producing eggs or milk for human consumption

🚫 Contraindications

• Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to tetracyclines

• Avoid in cases of severe liver or kidney impairment

• Do not combine with penicillin, cephalosporins, or quinolones
