Description:
Pyralvex is an oromucosal (mouth) solution formulated with rhubarb extract and salicylic acid. It provides targeted relief for painful mouth ulcers and irritation caused by dentures. The solution soothes inflammation, reduces pain, and supports the healing process without leaving residue.

Composition (per 1 ml):

• Rhubarb Extract – 50 mg (equivalent to ~5 mg anthraquinone glycosides)

• Salicylic Acid – 10 mg

• Excipients: Includes ethanol (alcohol)

Indications / Uses:

• Symptomatic relief of pain from recurrent mouth ulcers (aphthous ulcers)

• Relief from denture irritation and associated sores

Mode of Action:

• Rhubarb extract: Anti-inflammatory properties to reduce swelling and irritation

• Salicylic acid: Provides analgesic (pain-relieving) effects

• Together, they soothe the affected area and support tissue healing

Dosage & Administration:

• Apply 3–4 times daily using the brush provided

• Remove dentures before application if used for denture irritation

• Avoid rinsing or eating for at least 15 minutes after application

• Do not use for more than 7 days unless advised by a doctor

Precautions & Warnings:

• Not recommended for children under 16 (or under 12 in some sources) due to salicylate content

• Do not use if allergic to rhubarb extract or salicylic acid

• Temporary burning or stinging sensation may occur

• May temporarily discolor teeth, dentures, or prostheses (disappears with cleaning)

• Do not share the bottle; each pack is for single-person use

Storage:

• Store below 25 °C

• Keep out of reach of children

Side Effects:

• Mild burning or stinging at the site of application

• Possible allergic reactions such as rash or hives

• Temporary discoloration of oral surfaces

• Alcohol (ethanol) is present as an excipient

• Systemic absorption is minimal due to low doses of active ingredients
