Scabicidal and Antipruritic Lotion for Management of Scabies

MSR Permethrin Lotion contains Permethrin BP 5% w/w, a clinically proven scabicidal agent designed to treat scabies infestations and relieve itching associated with mite bites. It is suitable for adults and children (under physician guidance) and helps prevent transmission within households.

Active Ingredient

• Permethrin BP 5.00% w/w

• Lotion base q.s.

Application Procedure

1. Apply MSR Permethrin Lotion over the entire body, except the head and mouth area. Ensure thorough coverage, especially between fingers, toes, under nails, waistline, and skin folds.

2. All family members should use MSR Permethrin Lotion for complete prevention and to stop reinfestation.

3. Repeat application after 7 days, applying over the whole body to ensure eradication of newly hatched mites.

4. For children (2 months–2 years):
   Apply lotion over the whole body except head and mouth, as directed by a physician.

5. After bathing, massage MSR Permethrin Lotion thoroughly over the entire body (except head & mouth).
   The lotion must remain on the skin for 8–14 hours before washing off.

Warning

• Avoid contact with eyes.

• If accidental contact occurs, rinse with water immediately.

• Discontinue use if irritation develops.

• Keep out of reach of children.
