How to use Prenavo Dr

How Prenavo Dr works
Prenavo Dr is a combination of two medicines: Doxylamine and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), which treats nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy. Doxylamine is an antihistamine which works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby controlling nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is a form of vitamin B which possesses anti-nausea properties.

- Prenavo Dr helps treat nausea and vomiting in pregnant women.
- Take it on an empty stomach with a glass of water.
- Prenavo Dr may cause dizziness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Do not take Prenavo Dr with other sedating medications such as those for cough and cold as the combination could worsen dizziness leading to falls or other accidents.
- Do not take Prenavo Dr while breastfeeding.

Mode of Action
Doxylamine: Ethanolamine derivative antihistamine
Pyridoxine: Vitamin B6 analog
Doxylamine is an antihistamine that blocks Histamine (H1) receptor. It affects the vestibular system and decreases the stimulation of the vomiting center. Its mascarinic receptor inhibition may also play a role in antihistamine antiemetic activity.
Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) is a vitamin used to prevent nausea and vomiting due to its antiemetic properties.
Precaution
