How to use Fentigal VT 600
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry your vaginal area. Lie on your back and gently insert the capsule into the vagina as high as possible with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label.
How Fentigal VT 600 works
Fentigal VT 600 is an antifungal medication. It kills and stops the growth of the fungi by destroying its cell membrane, thereby treating your skin infection.
What if you forget to take Fentigal VT 600?
If you miss a dose of Fentigal VT 600, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
- Fentigal VT 600 helps treat vaginal fungal infections. It reduces vaginal burning, itching, and discharge.
- It is inserted into the vagina using an applicator, usually at night before going to bed.
- Avoid contact with your eyes. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
- It can damage condoms and diaphragms and make them ineffective at preventing pregnancy. Ask your doctor about other suitable methods of preventing pregnancy.
- It may cause minor burning, stinging, or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away.
- Inform your doctor if your symptoms do not get improved within 3 days of taking the medicine.

Candidiasis, Fungal skin infections, Vaginal thrush (Vaginal candidiasis), Vulvovaginal candidiasis
Administration
Vaginal administration: Insert one VT high into the vagina in the evening before going to bed (this is easiest when lying on back with knees bent up).

Adult: Apply 2% cream twice daily on the affected site.

The VT should be inserted into the vagina as a single dose, at bedtime.

Mode of Action
The main mechanism of action of fenticonazole is based on the inhibition of the synthesis of aspartate acid proteinase, a virulence enzyme of Candida albicans correlated with the adherence of the yeast to epithelial cells. This activity is quite peculiar as it was not observed with fluconazole, ketoconazole and miconazole.

Discontinue if sensitization or irritation occurs. Pregnancy and lactation.
