Presentation

Each gm powder contains Lincomycin Hydrochloride BP equivalent to Lincomycin 44 mg.

Description

Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibiotic with activity against Gram-positive and cell wall-less bacteria including pathogenic species of Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, and Mycoplasma. Lincomycin is used to treat severe bacterial infections.

Indications

Necrotic enteritis, Non Specific Enteritis, Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD), Complicated Chronic Respiratory Disease (CCRD), Airsacculitis, Infectious Synovitis and Dermatitis.

Dosage & Administration

Poultry- 15-20 mg/kg body or 1 gm/ 1-2 liter drinking water for 3-5 days,
Or
20-30 gm/100 kg feed for 3-5 days or as directed by registered veterinarian.

Side Effects

Lincomycin is usually well tolerated at recommended dose.
