Contents:
Respiron contains alkalizers, urinary acidifiers, buffers and aminonitrogen.
Description:
Accumulation of mucous in the alveolar spaces and air passages causes blockade in gaseous exchange leading to severe
discomfort & reduced rate and depth of breathing. The genetic make-up however, will not allow the birds to slow their
metabolic rate accordingly. High energy diets also continue to demand more of oxygen for energy derivation producing
CO2, the excretion of which can not match the accumulation.
Due to these reasons, the balance of the above reaction is upset, resulting in Respiratory Acidosis.
This may lead to
• Greater respiratory distress
• Discomfort
• Drowsiness
• Poor resistance
• Low productivity
• Poor performance
Supporting the host system & restoring its balance is critical for the improvement of this condition.
Respiron contains -
• The alkalizers that help to break up the H2CO3 (carbonic acid) and release excess CO2 (carbon dioxide)
out.
• Urinary acidifiers fight the acidosis that has already set in by excreting out more of acid ions.
• Buffers play a potent supportive role in restoring the ionic and pH balance of the body.
• Aminonitrogen liquidizes and clears the mucous cloggings, brings about urinary acidification and also
helps in breaking down the accumulated H2CO3 to expel out more of CO2.
Indication:
In poultry, during respiratory distress as in chronic respiratory disease (CRD), coryza and respiratory disease complex
(RDC).

Dosage & Administration:
Treatment: 1 ml per liter of water for 4 days with prescribed antibiotic. Continue for 3 days after withdrawing antibiotic
for better result.
Prevention: 0.5 to 1 ml per liter of water for 3-5 days.
or as directed by the Registered Veterinary Doctor.
