রান্নার অন্যতম উপাদান দারুচিনি। দারুচিনি মূলত হালকা মিষ্টি ও কিছুটা ঝাঁঝালো স্বাদের শুকনো বাকল। দারুচিনির রয়েছে নানান ওষধি গুণ।
